The LTBB Department of Commerce is gauging interest to see how many Citizens would be interested in attending an entrepreneurship workshop this summer.

The content goes beyond the “how to” for a business and instead covers broad entrepreneurial topics such as: do you really want to be an entrepreneur, what makes your businesses different than other businesses, business plans, etc. The workshop would be provided through RedWind Consulting, and funded by the Small Business Administration (SBA), and the training material is through ONABEN. It was great to see LTBB Tribal Citizens, descendants, other Native Americans, and Lansing area community members come in say hello and to get their vaccine.
We received positive press coverage for this event via the Lansing State Journal, WLNS TV, and the Michigan Advance (an online publication).  Our thanks to the State of Michigan for spreading the word to help this coverage happen....
