LTBB Community Health has another exciting announcement to make this week. We are going to be participating in the Michigan Indian Family Olympics again this year!

The Community Health Department strives to promote health and wellness through fun, competitive, physical activities with other Michigan tribes! There are a variety of ways to get involved in this competition. Activities include: Archery, Long Jump, Jump Rope and Fitness Circuit, Softball Throw, 3 Point Basketball Shot, Running/Walking, and Lacrosse Speed Shot!

Community Health is excited to announce that the Ogichidaa Trail is open for business.  This is a "soft opening" as there still is some work to do on the trail. 13 of the 15 workout stations are open for use.  There are signs located at each of the open stations, starting with a recommended warm-up prior to starting the trail and a cool down at the end. From start to finish, it's approximately 0.5 mile long.

We have a new program launching at the LTBB Tribal Health Clinic and YOU are invited!

We are rolling out a new tobacco cessation clinic at the beginning of June.

If you use Sema in nontraditional ways (cigarettes, vaping, chew etc.)  and are ready to quit or have thought about quitting, please contact the clinic at 231-242-1700 to schedule an appointment with our tobacco cessation coach for an individualized quit plan.
