The Land and Reservation Committee Chair Councilor Aaron Otto has approved the posting of a phone poll. In accordance with policy, the following Land and Reservation Committee phone poll shall be posted for 24 hours.
Reason for Phone Poll: Motion to reschedule the Land and Reservation Committee meeting dated 07/07/2023 at 9:00 am. To 07/06/2023 at 9:00 am.
Voting may begin at the time that Committee members are notified of the proposed phone poll, and shall continue until the phone poll is closed.

LTBB Community Health has another exciting announcement to make this week. We are going to be participating in the Michigan Indian Family Olympics again this year!

The Community Health Department strives to promote health and wellness through fun, competitive, physical activities with other Michigan tribes! There are a variety of ways to get involved in this competition. Activities include: Archery, Long Jump, Jump Rope and Fitness Circuit, Softball Throw, 3 Point Basketball Shot, Running/Walking, and Lacrosse Speed Shot!

Community Health is excited to announce that the Ogichidaa Trail is open for business.  This is a "soft opening" as there still is some work to do on the trail. 13 of the 15 workout stations are open for use.  There are signs located at each of the open stations, starting with a recommended warm-up prior to starting the trail and a cool down at the end. From start to finish, it's approximately 0.5 mile long.
