Tribal Council has Officially declared a vacancy on Tribal Council at their last meeting on August 25, 2022 and made the following motion, “Motion made by Councilor Fred Kiogima and supported by Councilor Melissa Pamp to declare a vacancy on Tribal Council. Vote: 6 - Yes, 0 - No, 0 - Abstained, 2 - Absent (Councilor William Ortiz, Secretary Marcella Reyes).”

The Planning Department is seeking to dispose of surplus equipment it has. In accordance with WAGANAKISING ODAWAK STATUTE 2012-015 ASSET DISPOSITION, the departments previously offered first right of refusal to all LTBB Governmental Departments and Enterprises on the surplus equipment listed below.  No department expressed an interest in the equipment.  We will now offer them to LTBB Tribal Citizens and public by way of sealed bid.  All interested parties must submit a sealed bid to the LTBB Accounting Department Attn: Mandy Szocinski.  Bids can be mailed or hand delivered to:  LTBB Accounting Department Attn: Mandy Szocinski, 7500 Odawa Circle, Harbor Springs, MI 49740.  See below for items location and contact information..

The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians’ Fisheries Enhancement Facility is hosting a Nmé Celebration at the Wolverine Village Park on August 27th 2022 at 1:00pm. This is a wonderful family event, where we can celebrate the return of this magnificent fish to the Sturgeon River. Lunch and refreshments are provided. Attendees will get a chance to release about 200 fish and send them off with kind wishes as the fish begin their long journey.
