Environmental Appeals Board

Environmental Appeals Board:

A commission of three enrolled Tribal Citizens who should have either scientific experience in the environmental field or Traditional Ecological Knowledge or both. The Environmental Appeals Board is charged with developing policy and procedures to appeal the decisions of the Environmental Services Department. The Board hears all such appeals, affirming, reversing, or modifying eligible decisions of the Environmental Services Department based on the evidence presented and the application of Tribal statutes and regulations.
