13 Apr Poet & Writer Cecelia Lapointe To Speak At Petoskey District Library
Join Petoskey District Library and Good Hart Artist Residency for a National Endowment for the Arts Big Read event: an evening of poetry and discussion of boarding schools and healing justice with poet Cecelia LaPointe on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:00pm in the Petoskey District Library Carnegie Building, located at 451 E Mitchell St.
Cecelia is the Founder and Executive Director of the Native Justice Coalition, and the Founder and Owner of Red Circle Consulting and Waub Ajijaak Press. Their poetry and writing is featured in 25 anthologies, booklets, chapbooks, dissertations, exhibits, journals, magazines, and online Indigenous-Native publications.
