LTBB Events
Last year we started this group for parents of children ages 0-6 to learn beginner Anishinaabemowin words and phrases that relate to child care, household activities, and children’s interest. We hope through these efforts we can get more Anishinaabemowin into homes in our community and expose children to Anishinaabemowin early in life. During our gatherings we go over baby sign language with words and phrases in the Anishinaabemowin, children’s songs in Anishinaabemowin, and words to use with your child. At these gatherings we provide toys and games to keep the little ones occupied, as well as snacks and dinner. We hope to continue to build this group up over the next year!
