LTBB Hosted Events

The Gijigowi Anishinaabemowin language Department is excited to announce our upcoming event “Aambe Anishinaabemodaa!” which translates to “Come on, let’s speak the language!” 

 

On Friday, November 17th from 9AM – 5PM at the Community Center we will be hosting fluent speaker & teacher Isadore Toulouse. This is an all-ages event, no language experience necessary. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, please RSVP to LangTech@ltbbodawa-nsn.gov or simply reply to this email.

 

During the event we will be going over simple language lessons, playing games,  and have time for questions & translations with Isadore. This is a great opportunity for those already learning the language, those interested in learning the language, and folks who work in cultural or community driven positions for the tribe.

 

We hope to see many tribal employees, citizens, and community members there together for a day of learning.
